FDR-PDS : des négociations secrètes
A discreet meeting took place this Monday afternoon between a delegation from the Front for the Defense of Democracy (FDR) and representatives of the Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS), at the headquarters of the liberal party.
While nothing has leaked from the discussions, Les Echos reports that discussions focused on establishing an organic unity within the opposition. However, the outcome of these talks remains uncertain, with the daily newspaper pointing out that any decision at the PDS depends on Karim Wade, whose political intentions remain unknown for the time being.
