During the 34th edition of Laylatoul Qadr, organized by the Ta-Ifatoul Mouhammadiyatoul Islamiyatou movement, Serigne Ahmed Cissé Ndieguene delivered a message of profound spiritual significance, placing peace at the heart of the nation's destiny.

It was in an atmosphere of piety and reverence, commemorating the revelation of the Holy Quran, that the spokesperson for the Ndieguene family of Thiès addressed the gathering. Before a crowd of faithful from all walks of life, the spiritual leader reiterated a fundamental principle: "Faith can only flourish in an environment of lasting serenity."

A direct appeal to the highest levels of government

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the marabout's solemn address to the highest authorities of the country. Speaking directly to the President of the Republic and his Prime Minister, Serigne Ahmed Cissé Ndieguene urged them to make peace, tolerance, and perseverance the unshakeable pillars of their governance.

"Peace is the central element in the functioning of a nation, particularly where faith plays a primary role," he stressed.

For the leader, stability is not a luxury, but a sine qua non condition for the social progress and spiritual salvation of Senegal.

Beyond the institutional sphere, the marabout turned his attention to Senegalese youth, the guardians of the future. Faced with the challenges and upheavals of modernity, he called on young people to make a true "return to orthodoxy," advocating piety and the multiplication of good deeds as bulwarks against contemporary excesses.

The ceremony concluded on a note of hope and unity. In closing, Serigne Ahmed Cissé Ndieguene offered prayers for national harmony, unity of hearts, and the economic prosperity of Senegal.
