Révision ordinaire des listes électorales : Les citoyens appelés à vérifier leur inscription dès le 1er octobre

Following the ordinary revision of the electoral lists, organized from February 1 to July 31, 2025, the Director General of Elections (DGE) informs the public that the lists of movements (registrations, modifications, changes of status and deletions) as well as the lists of rejections will be displayed from October 1, 2025 in the prefectures, sub-prefectures and town halls.

This step is in compliance with the provisions of Articles L.40, L.43, R.43 and R.44 of the Electoral Code, which guarantee the transparency and regularity of the process. Citizens are invited to visit the relevant administrations to check whether their request has been taken into account.

In the event of an omission on the electoral list or a material error relating to an element of identification,

Any voter with a receipt has 20 days from the publication of the lists to contact the president of the competent district court. This can be done directly or through the CENA (National Autonomous Electoral Commission).

Furthermore, any voter, as well as the administrative authority, may also request the registration of an omitted voter or the removal of an unduly registered voter.

This control phase constitutes a crucial step in guaranteeing the reliability of the electoral register for the next elections.

The DGE therefore invites all citizens to check their electoral status and to exercise their rights of appeal if necessary.
