Diamaguène : Interpelé avec de la drogue, un couturier livre son dealer à la police
The investigation unit of the Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao district police station dismantled a drug trafficking network. Two young men were arrested in possession of marijuana and ecstasy pills. The operation took place during the night of Saturday, January 31st to Sunday, February 1st, 2026, at 12:10 a.m.
The BR officers were conducting a routine patrol in their sector when they spotted suspicious behavior.
A fashion designer caught red-handed
Police officers apprehended a man in a darkened area as he was about to start his motorcycle. Upon seeing the officers, he displayed suspicious behavior, which immediately alerted them. He was subdued and then subjected to a body search. The officers discovered a small bag of marijuana concealed in his pocket. The man identified himself as A. Dione, 24 years old. He works as a tailor and resides in Sam-Sam, according to Seneweb sources.
When briefly questioned at the scene, A. Dione stated that he had obtained the prohibited product from a certain A. Diao, without providing further details on the circumstances of this transaction.
Following his confession, the police, accompanied by A. Dione, went to the home of S. Diao in Sam-Sam. They found him in front of his house, presumably waiting for customers or watching the surroundings.
The search of S. Diao, born in 2004, proved fruitful for investigators. They discovered on this alleged mechanic 12 packets of Indian hemp intended for sale, 32 ecstasy tablets divided into four separate bags (three bags containing ten tablets each and one bag containing two tablets), as well as 7,000 CFA francs, presumably representing the proceeds from drug sales.
This discovery confirms that S. Diao was actively involved in drug trafficking in the area, offering both Indian hemp and ecstasy to his clientele.
Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, was informed of the facts.

Tout d'abord, il est illégale de diffuser au public les noms des gens arrêtés pour n'importe quel motif pour le respect des procédures, et celui de la présomption d'innocence jusqu'a ce qu'un tribunal confirme ou infirme le crime commis !
C'est un vrai souq de lynchage médiatique on a l'impression ! même les victimes de viols et de meurtres ils diffusent leurs noms au complet alors que normalement il devrait y avoir prescription et interdiction par toutes les loi et les codes criminels et civils sur terre !
on nous donne l'impression que le Sénégal est un état Policier, une république bananière et non un État de Droit !
A moins que la Police dans ce bled sert de flic et de magistrat en même temps, et qu'elle possède tous les pouvoirs, y compris de divulguer a la presse les noms complets des interpellés et avant même de passer devant un juge !!!!
