Diamniadio : 11 membres d’un réseau de trafic de drogue arrêtés par la gendarmerie
The Dakar Gendarmerie Legion, under the command of Colonel Malick Faye, is strengthening its security system by carrying out several security operations, in accordance with the instructions of the High Command of the National Gendarmerie. It is in this dynamic that the Diamniadio Territorial Brigade, reinforced by the Surveillance and Intervention Squadron, arrested, during a raid, eleven (11) members of a network trafficking Indian hemp and Kush, learned Seneweb from Colonel Ibrahima Ndiaye.
The mission, aimed at strengthening the feeling of security among the populations and carried out on Sunday, September 22, 2025 in the Sant Yalla and Ndindy districts of Diamniadio, is part of the implementation of action plans throughout the national territory. In total, two (02) kilograms of Indian hemp and twelve (12) cones packaged for sale were seized, along with eleven (11) cell phones, bladed weapons and other equipment, during a search in one of their apartments, informs the head of the communication division.
