Exercice illégal du métier de pharmacien à Kédougou : Un Malien arrêté avec des comprimés dans sa boutique
Following the exploitation of operational intelligence, the Kédougou regional narcotics brigade, under the Central Office for the Repression of Illicit Drug Trafficking (OCRTIS), arrested 24-year-old businessman H. Dicko on Tuesday, December 22, in Sambrambougou. This arrest followed the exploitation of intelligence indicating a network trafficking psychotropic products, particularly tramadol tablets, allegedly run by the suspect.
According to information gathered by investigators, H. Dicko received clients in his shop to sell them these illicit substances. To confirm the information obtained, investigators from the regional narcotics squad made a confirmation purchase of five tramadol tablets. This led to the suspect's arrest at his shop.
The search of the premises uncovered 112 more tramadol tablets in the suspect's possession. In total, 117 tablets of this psychotropic drug were seized from the illicit market, according to Seneweb sources.
H. Dicko, a Malian national, was taken into custody for possession and trafficking of psychotropic products, illegal sale of medicines and illegal practice of the profession of pharmacist.
The investigation continues to determine the extent of this trafficking network and to identify any accomplices or suppliers of the accused.
