KOLDA: Un mécanicien trouvé mort à son domicile
Amadou Bangoura, a motorcycle mechanic, was found dead at his home in the Sinthiang Tountourou neighborhood of Kolda. The grim discovery was made Tuesday morning around 11:00 AM. A passerby in front of the fenced compound saw Amadou Bangoura in an uncomfortable position behind the hut that served as his dwelling. After receiving no response, the man entered the house and discovered the irreparable truth. Amadou Bangoura was no longer breathing. The neighbors, alerted to the situation, were in shock. Firefighters arrived at the scene and transported the victim's body to the morgue of the regional hospital. Amadou Bangoura, married and the father of grown children, had been separated from his wife for some time. This separation had led him to leave their marital home and live in a hut he had built on the same property. The mechanic, who was in his fifties, left behind shocked friends and colleagues.
