Ngathie Naoudé : Un père de 13 enfants arrêté avec 55 kg de chanvre indien par l'OCRTIS
The Kaolack Regional Narcotics Brigade (BRS) has dealt a severe blow to drug trafficking. Investigators from the OCRTIS arrested a 42-year-old man in possession of 55 kg of cannabis, cleverly hidden in the fields of Ngathie Naoudé.
This operation is part of the fight against transnational organized crime plaguing the region. Investigators apparently had precise information about the presence of narcotics in this remote area. BRS officers discovered two cleverly booby-trapped packages in the salt flats. The first package contained 26 blocks of cannabis, and the second contained 29 blocks.
In total, the seizure amounted to 55 blocks of Indian hemp for a total weight of 55 kg at the weigh-in according to Seneweb sources.
The arrested man has been identified as B. Diallo, born in 1984. He describes himself as a farmer and shepherd. He is married to two wives and is the father of 13 children. The suspect provided no further details to investigators during his arrest. He was taken into custody after being informed of his rights, in accordance with the provisions of the Senegalese Code of Criminal Procedure.
