Sedhiou : Le vol de motos à main armée à la mode

Armed robbery and muggings are becoming increasingly common in Sedhiou. The latest incident occurred yesterday in Bounkiling, on the Medina Wandifa - Bignona road. A customer hired a motorcycle taxi to go to Mayor, near the town of Bounkiling. As soon as they left the town, the customer held a knife to the motorcyclist's throat, ordering him to stop and get off the motorcycle. When the motorcycle taxi driver complied, his assailant jumped on the motorcycle and took a track leading towards the nearby Gambian border. Along the way, he removed the motorcycle's fairing to avoid identification. He is currently being actively sought.
