Audit de la Ligue pro : les premiers cafards sortent des placards
Barely having been installed as head of the Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP), the new president, Babacar Ndiaye, has commissioned a series of audits. The initial results reveal several anomalies in the management of the former management team, the specialist newspaper Record reported in its Wednesday edition.
Digitalization and Givova partnership in the sights
Among the issues highlighted is the digitalization project launched by former president Mouhamed Djibril Wade's team, the sports daily details. Although presented as a major step forward, this project has not generated the expected financial benefits for the clubs.
The pay-per-view (PPV) system raised 19 million CFA francs, of which 16 million went to the broadcaster DSports and 3 million to the LSFP. Professional clubs, although stakeholders, received nothing.
Another surprise revealed by the audit, points out the same source: the project, announced as a test phase, is in reality linked to a four-year contract, which the new management intends to re-evaluate quickly.
The audit also highlighted irregularities in the partnership with the equipment manufacturer Givova. The number of balls actually distributed to clubs was reportedly significantly lower than the number received by the league. This opaque management raises questions about the transparency of the outgoing administration.

Beyond these two issues, questions remain about the LSFP's overall financial situation, which the new team is now working to clarify, Record adds. He maintains that due to these discoveries and the work related to the installation of the new commissions, the start of the 2025-2026 season, initially set for October 13, could be postponed to the 25th of the same month.

Qui dirigeait cette ligue ? IL faut porter plainte. Il suffit d'arreter les detournements pour que le pays se developpe, peu importe ceux qui le dirigent. La lutte contre ce fleau est la mere des luttes et est une lutte patriotique (je ne parle pas des connards de Pastef, mais avouons que Pastef est tres utile de ce point de vue).
Mais on est sur quel planéte???? Depuis quand un diffuseur est payé pour la diffusion d'événements sportifs? Une premiére mondiale!!!
C'est normalement le diffuseur qui paie le diffusé.
Il faut des systèmes de gestion en temps réel avec une visibilité et une transparence partout. Le numérique doit être couplé avec des vérifications physiques trimestrielles. Ce pays doit définitivement entrer dans l'ere de la responsabilité individuelle, ce que les anglophones appellent personal accountability.
