France : Didier Deschamps révèle ce qu’il ne va surtout pas faire après son départ de la tête des Bleus
Didier Deschamps' reign as manager of the French national team is drawing to a close. The French coach will leave his post after the 2026 World Cup in the Americas. Invited to the Sports Journalism Festival in Laval in early February, the Bayonne native was notably asked about his plans after leaving the French national team bench.
"I have a life, I will have a life after, it's not the end," he replied, announcing that he did not want to retire.
"Not in the media"
When asked if he plans to become a sports commentator, he answers in the negative. "My next life will not be in the media," the French coach asserts. It's worth noting that he previously worked as a sports commentator for Canal+ and RMC. Clearly, the 1998 World Cup winner did not enjoy the experience.
