Novak Djokovic a signé son premier contrat avec Lacoste il y a huit ans
Novak Djokovic's outfitter since 2017, Lacoste unveiled a collection this Friday paying tribute to the Serbian. For the occasion, the crocodile-emblazoned brand replaced its famous logo with... a green goat.
In the debate over the identity of the greatest player of all time (GOAT), Lacoste has made its decision. The crocodile brand has logically opted for Novak Djokovic, for whom it has been the equipment supplier since 2017. To pay tribute to the Serbian, winner of 24 Grand Slam tournaments, the company unveiled a new limited-edition collection this Friday.
A polo shirt, a tracksuit, a jacket, a t-shirt, and a cap—all classics: the items on offer are nothing particularly original, except for their logo. Lacoste's usual crocodile has been replaced by... a goat! A reference to the English word for "goat." And to maintain a connection with its original logo, the French brand had the good idea of offering a green goat. Purists can rest assured: the change only affects this clothing line.
