Trafic de faux médicaments : Une quantité d'une valeur de plusieurs milliards saisie, 6 personnes dont 2 pharmaciens arrêtés

La Sûreté urbaine (Su) a démantelé un réseau de trafiquants de faux médicaments. Ce mardi 13 avril, les éléments de la Su, sous la coupe du commissaire Sangaré, ont intercepté six personnes dont deux étrangers et deux professionnels de la santé.La plupart de ces médicaments n’étaient pas autorisés à la commercialisation au Sénégal et les autres ne respectaient pas les conditions de stockage et de conservation.En effet, ces médicaments étaient stockés dans une maison délabrée à la Patte d’Oie, portant sur plusieurs tonnes d’une valeur de plusieurs milliards de francs Cfa.Les médicaments sont constitués de ringer lactate, glucose, perfuseurs, seringues, alcool stockés dans les cuisines et les toilettes de la maison à même le sol. Des produits qui sont extrêmement dangereux, parce qu’ils sont utilisés lors des perfusions et qui sont injectés directement aux patients. Autrement dit, un danger public.Pire encore, la structure n’est même pas agréée à vendre, importer et à stocker des médicaments. Des éléments qui concourent à dire que le caractère frauduleux ne fait aucun doute.
Ainsi, les autorités semblent déterminées à mettre un terme à cette pratique."Nous engageons notre Direction de la pharmacie, dirigée par le professeur Yérim Mbagnick Diop, avec les services de la Sûreté urbaine, pour mener d’autres actions afin d’annihiler de façon définitive le trafic des faux médicaments qui met en danger la population’’, déclare le Dr Madické Diagne, Chef de la Division de l’inspection et du contrôle de l’importation des médicaments à la Direction de la pharmacie et des médicaments. Saisie recordUne quantité astronomique a été trouvée dans la maison qui a plus de 20 chambres, toutes utilisées pour stocker des produits pharmaceutiques. D’après nos sources, il y a eu des commandes qui ont été opérées par certaines structures de santé. L’enquête dévoilera sûrement l’identité de ces structures et toutes les personnes qui sont impliquées dans ce vaste marché illicite.Pour les images, regardez la vidéo. Juste horrible !
