Fatick : Un studio d’enregistrement ravagé par un incendie
A fire broke out in a recording studio located on the premises of the Lutheran Mission in the central market of Fatick. All the studio equipment—including an air conditioner, a mixing console, an amplifier, and furniture—was completely destroyed by the flames. The intensity of the fire caused one of the studio walls to collapse onto an adjacent kiosk where the owner ran her small business.
Firefighters, who were quickly dispatched to the scene, managed to control the fire before it could spread further.
When questioned, the studio manager, musician Nicolas Ngor Sarr, still in shock, said he was not able, at the moment, to assess the amount of losses suffered.
